This Privacy Policy explains how Gordian Limited ("Gordian Legal", "we", "us") collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information through the Cadmus tool ("Tool"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).

1. What information we collect

When you use the Tool, we collect:

Your name and email address — provided during the interview process.
Your answers to the interview questions — including factual information about your dispute (names of other parties, amounts, dates, descriptions of events).
Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. We receive confirmation of payment only.
Technical information — IP address, browser type, and time of access, retained briefly for security and rate-limiting purposes.

2. Why we collect it and how we use it

To generate your dispute letter or statutory notice;
To deliver your letter to you (via the download page and by email);
To process your payment securely;
To provide the legal review add-on service if you request it;
To improve the Tool over time.

We will not use your information for unrelated marketing or share it with advertising networks.

3. Storage and retention

Your interview answers are stored temporarily (for up to 48 hours) to allow letter generation and re-download. After this period, your answers are automatically deleted from our systems. Your name and email may be retained for up to two years for service and legal review purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

Stripe — for payment processing;
Anthropic — your interview answers are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your letter. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing;
Cloudflare — our hosting provider, which processes data in accordance with its privacy commitments;
Gordian Legal staff — if you purchase a legal review add-on;
As required by law.

5. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at the details below. We will respond within 20 working days.

6. Security

The Tool is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with industry-standard security. Your answers are transmitted over HTTPS. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers.
